A view was framed of the Eden Valley in Cumbria looking towards the North Pennines, chosen because of its spatial qualities to explore how transformative changes in light, season and weather affect our perception of place and space in film.
Six different seasonal takes were used of the same framed view and filmed on days when changes in light were most prominent to accommodate shifting contrasts of illumination which alter the spatial perspective of the framed field of view.
It is hoped that this video will provide a reflexive and contemplative experience fr the viewer.
